SFU Security Moves Students

Img_0511

Surrey students did find one power outlet that works. And then they were asked to move because that outlet was not to be used. What is the logic behind the archaic organization known as facilities management. Contact Andrew Nip and sign the petition!

Yeah dude...
That's super bunk..
Limited power as it is, its not like we sit up with math texts, pens and paper.. just not gunna happen and a school where its program is based on technology..

Those blocky things are nice comfy benches for seating.

Yea, I worked in facilities as a temp job once. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fire codes or something(not that there isn't a football stadium sized area to move around in). As far as facilities are concerned: where people are and what they do is SRS business. I understand their viewpoint partially, as students move shit around like they own the place.. but then again, we do don't we? I mean we pay for it? Glad to hear that student feedback made a difference :)
